Gsoc:2022 with OpenMRS

Hello Everyone.

It is the fourth week of the coding period in Gsoc:2022. In the previous week, we had a discussion to bring the 3.x E2E testing framework to a new place. And now we have a new repository for Ref app 3 testings. You can read the past week’s blog post here. In this blog post, I’ll be sharing the experience of the fourth week in Gsoc:2022.

As I mentioned before we had a discussion to bring the 3.x E2E testing framework to a new repository. This is the talk thread that brings the discussion by the members. And now we have a repository with the 3.x testing framework with the passing O3 login test on it.

Clear up the unwanted things in the new repository.

Pull request :

Basically, with this pull request, I had to remove the unwanted files that were not related to the 3.X E2E test framework. And also the pr is created to fix the wrong paths in the README guideline file. The pr is related to the issue ticket number O3–1375. And this pull request is an extension for the older pull request that was created for bringing the test to this new repository.

Also, I suggest that we can change the integration folder path to take the features file to a simple folder path. After the suggestion was accepted by the project mentor, I started working on it.

Changing the integration folder paths.

So this will be the new folder path for the feature files in the repository.

That’s about the experience of the fourth week in the coding period in Gsoc:2022. Next week I will be working on the data mutation issues that we faced in some test cases. And also will be working on the other test cases to get them to the new repository after fixing them.

Thank you for reading the blog! See you in Week:5 Blog. :)
